Make a Change is an early response to address the perpetration of domestic abuse and was developed in partnership by Respect and Women's Aid, drawing on the Change that Lasts model.
Make a Change Trafford is delivered in TLC (Talk, Listen, Change) and TDAS (Trafford Domestic Abuse Services) with TLC delivering support to those using abusive behaviour in their intimate relationships and TDAS offering separate and confidential support to partners/ex-partners and the children.
Recognise, Respond and Refer training is for frontline practitioners who come into contact with clients who they are concerned may be (or are already) using abusive behaviours in their intimate relationship. This training focuses on recognising the signs of DA perpetration, safely broaching the subject and engaging in motivational conversations to refer to the Make a Change Programme.
